From Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine
The Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine Charlie McConalogue T.D., today announced the appointment of two new Directors to the board of Irish National Stud Designated Activity company (INS DAC).
Ms. Finola O Mahony and Ms. Clodagh Cavanagh have both been appointed by Minister McConalogue.
The Minister congratulated the new directors:
“I am confident the backgrounds, experiences and individual skill sets of both Finola and Clodagh will bring a wealth of professional experience to the stud.” The Minister also thanked the two outgoing Directors, Ms Jessica Harrington and Dr. Sean Brady, “for sharing their respective knowledge and skills of the Thoroughbred Industry to the benefit of the National Stud.”
Minister McConalogue said the appointments were made following a competitive selection process run by the Public Appointments Service (PAS).
